EBMC started out in 1968 still under its first company name Barcelon-Burger Management Corporation, collaboration between Eugene Burger and Theodore Barcelon, basically offering the same professional services it offers at present. The business partners eventually segregated in the year 1979, with Eugene Burger preserving the initial corporate charter and started Eugene Burger Management Corporation (EBMC), ushering in a new trend of growth for the organization. By the year 2004, EBMC established its head office in Rohnert Park accompanied by a committed staff of skilled and certified professionals furnishing an entire range of real estate management services to commercial and residential customers.

EBMC announced the publication of their EBMC University Course Catalog in September 2011. The catalog was developed to let team members know of the 41 course offerings made available from EBMC University Learning Management System. EBMC updates the catalog bimonthly.

The Company has selected their preferred tenant screening vendor for all EBMC-managed apartments and single-family rental properties. EBMC formed a committee consisting of nine members and interviewed six companies over seven months prior to making a final decision. The vendor provides strong online resident screening tools and expertise.

Eugene Burger’s expertise in real estate covers a broad variety of industry assignments. At present, he’s serving as a court-appointed receiver in the Eighth Judicial District in Nevada. Mr. Burger can produce a Receiver Bond within 48 hrs.

EBMC’s staff is credentialed, qualified and they understand the complexities and challenges of managing mobile homes, RV resorts and parks. They consult with park owners to make accurate property evaluations and budget projections. This is to make sure park owners reach their investment goals.

EBMC manages single-family homes for institutions, cities, and individual investors. Their priority is courteous and prompt service to single-family investors and owners. They make sure that maintenance repairs reported by residents are carried out timely to protect owners’ investments.

EBMC specializes in Homeowners’ Associations (HOA) management. They have managed associations in California and Nevada since 1969. Included in this are cooperatives, planned unit, condominium and the aforementioned homeowners’ associations. Their clients include high rises; large master planned developments; commercial condominiums, and smaller communities.

The Company brings the knowledge, expertise, and resources needed to address all phases of commercial property management. They manage greater than two million square feet of retail, industrial, and office space in Nevada and California. EBMC offers a complete array of services, including maintenance, property management, asset management, and specialty consulting.

Since 1969, the Company has been managing affordable, government-subsidized housing for low income individuals. They’ve participated in the management of greater than 250 properties insured and/or subsidized by HUD or other agencies.

The Company has worked through several real estate cycles. They’ve managed multifamily residential real estate assets for over 4 decades. They’ve experience in both conventional (market rate) and assisted (affordable) housing.
